For some computer shoppers, the lack of DVD drives on netbook is what stops them from buying a netbook. If that’s you, fear no more as Mouse Computer’s LB-F1500W netbook sports an optical drive, a seemingly first in the industry.

What you need to know about DVD drives in netbooks is that netbooks end up being heavier, consume more power and to a certain extent end up being more pricey (in this case US$729!). I would recommend just purchasing an external DVD drive as it would be a cheaper and more mobile solution (when you don’t need it, you just unplug it and leave it at home).
